Ruby

A little girl born on 16th November 2009 at 13:25, weighing 83g. A ‘mini’ Mummy as she is a solid brown tortie.
17th November - Weight 95g. This girl already looks like her Mummy. She enjoys her food and can be forever seen feeding.
18th November - Weight 114g.
22nd November Weight 188g. Her cord is off and her eyes have just started to open. She is a quiet girl and does not make a fuss, she does like to be stroked.

29th November Weight 264g. This little girl started to loose her tortie markings until I noticed her back foot was pink and her paw pads are a mixture of brown and pink. You can see her pink foot in this photo. She is a gently and calm kitten.

10th December - Weight 399g. The kittens have been really hard to photograph this week as they are now up and about causing trouble.

18th December - Weight 502g. The kittens are eating and have started to use the litter tray. They love playing together and with their toys. This little girl is always the first to do something and her brother and sisters will follow. She is taking after her big sister Tortie Girl in personality and is a typical naughty tortie.

27th December - Weight 698g. The kittens have really grown in the last 10 days and are now eating and using the litter tray. Ruby has realised if she is awake when the others are asleep she gets all the attention. The kittens are now developing their eye colour.

6th January - Weight 877g. Ruby is 'Miss Independent' at the moment and thinks she is all grown up. When we turn our backs she is always playing with toys or trying to climb across the furniture, she is a typical tortie through and through (she thinks she knows best). She has just realised she is very good at football.

17th January - Weight 1127g. Ruby has decided she is no longer a kitten but a parrot, she would spend all day on my shoulder if she could. Ruby and Honey love spending time together. Ruby is the maternal one of the two and spends time keeping Honey and herself clean.

25th January - Weight 1283g. The kittens have had their first injections and have passed their first health check with flying colours.

15th February - Weight 1627g. Ruby has had a full health check and her second vaccination. She is ready to go home with her sister Honey.
21st February - Ruby has now gone to her new home with Honey.
